Brinner Skillet Dip

The Brinner Skillet Dip is a unique appetizer that combines the flavors of barbecue and breakfast (hence "Brinner"). It is a warm, creamy, and decadent dip built around blocks of cream cheese that are scored, seasoned with a Memphis BBQ rub, and smoked until soft and caramelized. This smoky cream cheese base is then mixed with cooked breakfast sausage, cold smoked cheddar, and diced jalapeรฑos, and baked until hot and bubbly. The dish is characterized by a rich, velvety texture, deep savory notes from the sausage and rub, a powerful smoky essence, and a kick of fresh spice from the jalapeรฑos.
