Parโcook bacon in a skillet over medium heat 3โ4 minutes, just until some fat renders and it starts to firm up but isnโt crisp. Drain on paper towels.

Cut bread into rounds (about 2ยฝโ3") if needed.

Wrap 2 strips of parโcooked bacon around the edge of each bread piece, overlapping and securing ends with a toothpick if necessary.

Heat butter or reserved bacon fat in a skillet over mediumโlow. Add baconโwrapped bread and cook 3โ4 minutes per side until bacon is mostly crisp.

Reduce heat to low. Crack 1 egg into the center of each. Cover and cook 5โ7 minutes, until whites are set and yolks at desired doneness.
