These aren't your average quesadillas—they're a decadent and smoky masterpiece, taking rich, savory brisket and sealing it with gooey melted cheese. The delightful crunch from the crispy fried onions and the spicy tang of pickled jalapeños create a complex texture and flavor profile that makes every bite an unforgettable experience

Ingredients
  • 2 cups 2 brisket, diced 1/4" and warmed
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapenos, drained and diced
  • 3/4 cup French's Crispy Fried Onions
  • 1/2 cup smoked tomatoes (or sundried)
  • 2 cups Mexican cheese blend
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Pan spray
  • Chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions

    Toss diced brisket with chili powder, cumin and garlic powder

    Spray a large skillet with pan spray, preheated over medium low heat
  3. 3
    Lay out tortilla in pan and top with, in order: cheese, brisket, jalapenos, crispy onions and smoked tomatoes.

    After about 3 minutes check the underside is getting toasty and then over in half.

    Flip if needed to get even browning, remove from pan and cut into thirds. Top with scallions and serve
