Ingredients
  • 4 packs vegetable or soy flavored instant ramen
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, halved
  • 1 large yellow onion, cut into thick rings
  • 2 tbsp smoked tomato oil
  • 4 oz smoked tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp smoked salt (or a drop of liquid smoke)
  • 1 bunch green onions, charred whole
Instructions

    Lay the mushroom halves and thick onion rings in a dry cast-iron skillet over high heat and leave them alone until the bottoms are black and charred.
